A global investment manager with over $3tn in assets under supervision was scaling its investment strategies across public and private markets. With increasing complexity in portfolio monitoring, compliance and performance reporting, the firm faced mounting pressure to deliver high-quality outputs at speed and scale.

Legacy processes were fragmented, data quality issues were escalating and internal teams were spending significant time resolving operational bottlenecks. The client needed a partner who could embed seamlessly across functions, drive transformation and support its data-driven growth agenda.

Acuity began supporting the client in 2019 with a small team focused on due diligence for primary and secondary investments. Over time, the relationship expanded into portfolio monitoring, compliance operations and investment office reporting services (IORS).

Today, Acuity operates as a fully embedded partner across twelve business units, with 133 dedicated FTEs delivering integrated support across:

  • Portfolio Monitoring: Customized reporting, valuations, credit facilities, rebalancing and deal team support
  • Compliance Operations: Statutory and regulatory reporting, operational due diligence and KYC support
  • IORS: Client reporting, trade implementation, performance updates and time series management
  • Data Management and Engineering: Resolution of over 60,000 data issues including duplicate entities, stale valuations and missing identifiers

Acuity also provided UAT testing for the client’s proprietary tools, enabling successful deployment of portfolio and operating metric platforms.

The partnership is anchored by strong executive sponsorship and reinforced through regular governance and strategic planning sessions.
