About Robert King

Robert King has led Acuity Analytics as the Chief Executive Officer since 2017 and has led Acuity’s transition from corporate ownership to private equity and management ownership.

Rob has overseen the rapid growth of Acuity, now delivering a specialist range of analytics and technology solutions to over 800 financial services and corporate clients worldwide. Acuity has developed into a business that brings both great talent and market leading technology to help its clients make better and faster decisions. Under Rob’s leadership, Acuity places client needs and service quality, as well as the development and wellbeing of Acuity’s staff, at the core of the firm’s strategy.

Rob spent two decades with Moody’s Corporation, holding senior leadership roles across Europe, Asia and North America. He led global sales, customer services and marketing at Moody’s Analytics, driving significant growth and transformation. He began his career in private banking at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Based in London, Robert brings a global perspective shaped by his international experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Eastern European Studies from University College London and a bachelor’s in political history from the University of Sussex.

Away from work, he’s a devoted father and a passionate follower of Premier League football and England’s cricket team.
